Links between Hokkien and Japanese
When watching the show I noticed a lot of words that sounds very similar or similar to Hokkien, including numbers, and a lot of nouns.
Example word: world:
Japanese is not in the same language family, but both languages were derived from or influenced by Chinese from the Tang dynasty and the phonetics were convervatively evolved.
I think that's a major reason we have these nice coincidences.
