SPX Implied Vol surface w.r.t. OTM option delta and time, all tensors from 4/2 to 4/17 monthly OpEx. I choose put vol or call vol based on which one's OTM (instead of using mean), since OTM contracts are more liquid.
We can see the SPX is partially backwardated, with bumps including the days after tariff decision release (4/3 & 4/4) and next friday (4/11). It's a slope, not a smile!
