Living far away from ocean is disorienting for me, psychologically

Sometimes I don't know where I am anymore

It's all land

Something's wrong

Anchor

I don't have an anchor to tell where I'm relative to it.

The ocean has been my anchor the whole time before I moved to Raleigh in central North Carolina, a horizontally long state (meaning I'm even farther away from the ocean).

Sometimes it just doesn't seem real.
