TCWOTD: Scarlet

Scarlet is a bright red color, sometimes with a slightly orange tinge.

It sounds very fancy, that's why I included it here.
I think of scar, dark red blood, and mildly scary scenes when I see the word.

I took this pic near Powell Dr Park, in a peaceful neighborhood. I love those road names. There's a Maplewood St just west of downtown I passed by a few times and I really like that name too.
I went to Sips & Scripts event at the theatre and they wrote and acted out a play based on The Scarlet Letter, so I went YouTube to watch the story (because I never learned about the whole story).
