Hopping is jumping from one thing to another.
I sure do a lot of hopping:
- Distro hopping (arch -> top 20 on distrowatch.com -> uNbUnTu / Amazon Linux. Actually, I use darwin the most)
I hopped on bare machines in my possession, vps providers, VMs and containers. Lots of fun actually. - Language hopping (en -> es -> da -> fr, and some Hokkien along the way. Only English is fully functional though, and I guess that's one of the reasons I'm less motivated to learn another language fully. /s)
